God Is Eternal
Thus says God, the Lord, Who created the heavens and stretched them out, Who spread out the earth and what comes from it, Who gives breath to the people on it and spirit to those who walk in it: I am the Lord; I have called you in righteousness; I will take you by the hand and keep you… Isaiah 42:5-6

God Is Eternal
God said to Moses, “I AM Who I Am.” Exodus 3:14
When God chose Moses to lead His people out of Egypt, Moses made sure to ask the obvious question. “Who should I say has sent me?” And God’s answer was, “I Am.” In that one statement, God claims His eternality. He is, He will be, and He has always been.
God has no beginning, as His creation does. He has no end, as we will have here on earth.
- Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Hebrews 13:8)
- In the beginning, God spoke, the Word came forth, and the Spirit hovered-all three were there. (Genesis 1:1) (John 1:1) (Genesis 1:2)
- He is from everlasting to everlasting. (Psalm 90:2)
- His eternal power is revealed through nature. (Romans 1:20)
- He endures forever. (Psalm 102:12)
God Is Not Subjected By Time
God does not have a beginning or an end; therefore, He is not subjected by time. However, He was there at the beginning of time, and He will be there as time on earth ends. He will be there for every second we experience. But for Him, one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day. (2 Peter 3:8)
As we go through life, whether it seems to ink away slowly or passes quickly, God is in our every moment. Trust in His ability to know what is in our future and that He has great plans for us. (Jeremiah 29:11)
